Your Vanagon cooling system requires phosphate-free coolant and distilled water. VW included a tag like this one on original overflow reservoirs to remind technicians of these important details. If your coolant overflow reservoir tank is missing the original tag, replace it before you find yourself in serious trouble. Better safe than sorry!
Fits: All 1983.5-91 Watercooled Vanagon
Note: We offer two distinct tags. One for our earlier version tank (bare aluminum) and one for our current tank (black powder coat). Please select the correct tag for your tank in the drop-down menu.
