The Volkswagen Eos brought together two kinds of open-air driving in one car. Introduced in 2006, it featured a folding hardtop with an integrated glass sunroof, so drivers could enjoy fresh air without giving up the feel of a coupe. Its name comes from Eos, the Greek goddess of the dawn, a fitting touch for a convertible designed around sunny-day drives.

With four seats and a clean, elegant profile, the Eos balanced everyday comfort with the freedom of a retractable roof. It stood out in Volkswagen’s lineup as a stylish grand-touring convertible, built for drivers who wanted the flexibility of a hardtop and the fun of top-down motoring.
